New Orleans Skyline B&W
2,600 mile road trip from California to Florida (driving with my best friend) done in 4 days!
It was an adventure of a lifetime!
So many crazy things happened, I couldn't tell you about it all in one shot! I'm going to break it up into several parts, and tell you the stories behind each photograph I got to take of some amazing cities in reverse order in which they were taken!
First up... New Orleans!
What a wild city!
Travelling through the French Quarter and getting to walk Bourbon street was awesome! I'd heard of this place my whole life!
I grew up in the south of France, and spent 10 years there on and off, so the architecture and amazing castles and street cafes took me instantly home.
My stomach fluttered with nostalgic pangs for my old home in France where I grew up.
I knew I had to capture the skyline reflected off the water and we searched and searched for a good place to shoot from.
We ended up finding a perfect abandoned pier on the other side of the Mississippi River and I got to photograph a long exposure , in 3 parts, and then combines them together for an ultra crispy night shot!
There's more to come, but here is my first shot from the road trip!
