Clearwater Downtown Skyline and Memorial Bridge from the Sandkey Bridge Florida Beach Canvas Print Metal wall Art Cityscape Landmark decor
This is probably the most iconic and well-known view of London that's known throughout the world.
I lived and went to boarding-school in the UK for 7 years, about an hour south of London and am very proud of my half-British heritage. I knew my collection of London wouldn't be complete until I got this photograph.
While being mostly American myself, my friends still sometimes needle me about the lingering britishness about me, from living a childhood abroad.
There are 3 ways to print these images, glossy paper printing, metallic style printing and canvas printing.
1) Glossy Paper Prints are professional quality glossy paper prints. They have a nice sharp and glossy finish and are only available in 8 in x 10 in. They are designed to be placed in a frame, which can be purchased separately (starting at a few dollars at your local dollar store or Walmart).
2) Metallic Paper Prints are much sharper, more vivid and the colors more intense than any other printing method I've ever seen. These are bigger. They start at 12inx18in and go all the way up to 30x45!
The official description states the following.
Warning: Technical jargon.
Kodak Metallic paper features an increased color gamut for stronger, brighter, more vibrant colors. It allows bright whites and rich deep blacks. This is not a cheap substitute to a metal print. It is genuine Kodak silver halide photographic paper, exposed digitally on our Noritsu or $150,000 Chromira printer, in sizes all the way up to 30”x45”.
I recommend getting the biggest piece you can fit on your wall, as the printing price only goes up gradually as you double, triple or quadruple the size of the print.
Note: This special metallic-paper printing, ships unframed in a box or cardboard tube, to ensure safe delivery.
The delivery time for printing, packaging and shipping on a customized metallic paper print is around 3-5 business days.
3) Canvas Printing is a well-known, high-end way of displaying photographs. This also has the advantage of not needing a frame. They come "gallery wrapped". This is a high quality canvas, stretched and stapled onto a set of 1.2 inch deep wooden stretcherbars that give it shape, in the same way an oil painting is typical stretched. There are no staples or ugly lines visible on the sides (very important). It comes out of the shipping box finished and ready to hang with a simple nail in the wall. Once the stretched canvas print arrives and is in your hands, you then have the option of framing it locally if you decide you want that look, instead of the no-frame "gallery wrap" look.
Even $5 million homes commonly have unframed work on their walls, depending on the decor style in that home.
The delivery time for printing, packing and shipping on a customized canvas print is around 10-14 business days.
Any canvas print bigger than 2ftx4ft is shipped unmounted. This is because shipping large mounted artwork is extremely expensive as it needs to have a special wooden crate built for it, put on a shipping palet, go through a special cargo trucking service etc. This can cost $200-$500 dollars to ship just one piece, depending on size.
So for bigger pieces the canvas is rolled up in a tube and securely sent in the mail. When you receive it, you then take it to a local frame shop and you can get them to mount it, called "stretching a canvas".
